 The
Department of Microbiology at Mount Sinai Hospital conducts interdisciplinary
research in areas of basic science, population based epidemiology
and clinically oriented health care research. Successful collaborations
with local, national, and international clinicians, laboratorians,
and scientists have led to many advances in our knowledge regarding
bacterial and viral disease.
