• Mycelial phase of Histoplasma capsulatum was sub-cultured in BHIA and incubated at 370C.

• Yeast phase (A) was successfully converted.

• LPAB x400 shows small oval budding yeast (B).

• The culture was confirmed by DNA probe at the reference lab
