Sarcoidosis
A 55 year old female
patient admitted to the hospital with shortening of breath, cough
and chest pain
She also suffered
from chronic arthritis and was treated with steroid
Her physical examination
and other tests showed low complement, pancytopenia, vasculitis
and pulmonary infiltrate suggesting Sarcoidosis or Lymphoma
Mediastinal lymph
node biopsy specimen was sent to the microbiology for C&S
and fungal investigation
Gram stain results
reported out as pus cells seen, no bacteria seen
