Ulocladium species

• Stain: Lactophenol Aniline Blue
• Magnification: 400x


Structure: Septate brown hyphae, geniculate brown conidiophores, obovoid to ellipsoidal muriform brown, smooth or rough walled poroconidia produced singly rarely in short chains. Ulocladium species must be compared with Alternaria species. The later has the beak and the former is more like egg shaped without a beak
