Biography

Katherine Wong worked several years as a lab supervisor, before being promoted to her current position as manager of the UHN/MSH Department of Microbiology. Katherine studied at McGill University, where she received both her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Microbiology and Immunology.

As manager, Katherine oversees the daily operations of the microbiology laboratory to ensure quality and efficiency. Through collaboration with the microbiologists and management team, Katherine specifies departmental goals/objectives and implements strategic plans.
