Relationship of Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Viremia to HIV Replication

The aim of this study is to further investigate the interaction between CMV and HIV. Quantitative assays for measuring viral load are available for both viruses and those will be used to measure the viral load loads. Sequential samples from several HIV-infected patients will be tested to determine if changes in one virus correlates with changes in the other.
