Structure: Hylaine septate hyphae, simple
or branched hyaline conidiophores with annellides, unicellular,
smooth or rough walled pyriform conidia with truncate base (lemon
shaped) seen in chains
Compare structure with Penicillium species and note important
difference that Penicillium species have phialides not
annellides.
