Structure: Septate hyphae, hyaline or pale
grey, no conidiophores, pale or brown, unicellular or bicellular
arthroconidia in chains formed in various sizes and shapes (round,
square, oval, ellipsoidal or rectangular). Compare S. hyalinum
with Geotrichum, Arthrographis and Onychocola.
