Colonial Morphology: Very slowly growing as
cottony white to yellowish or pinkish (especially in high salt medium),
may become dark grey in older cultures.
Physiological Tests: Sensitive to benomyl, hydrolyses casein and
tyrosine, does not assimilate xanthine or hypoxanthine.
