Trichophyton violaceum
Colonial Morphology: Grows very slowly as glabrous, waxy wrinkled, heaped up, deep purplish red to violet on surface and reverse.
Physiological Tests: Urease negative, hair perforation negative, growth stimulated by thiamine.
