Trichophyton verrucosum


Colonial Morphology: Grows very slowly as glabrous, lightly downy, heaped up, button like, waxy, white, may be yellowish or greyish on surface and reverse. Better growth at 37°C.

Physiological Tests: Urease negative, hair perforation negative, requires thiamine and often inositol; BCP-milk: no change in pH, wide hydrolytic zone.
