Colonial Morphology: Grows very slowly as whitish, glabrous to waxy, downy, heaped up or folded. Growth often submerged and splits the agar medium, cream color to pale yellow or tan on surface and reverse.

Physiological Tests: Urease variable, hair test negative, no growth factors required; BCP milk: alkalinization.
