Penicillium marneffei

• Penicillium marneffei on IMA after one week.
Observe red pigment diffused in the medium. Of the 200 species of Penicillium, P. marneffei is the only species knwon to be dimorphic, causing systemic infection fo the Reticulo Endothelial System.
