• Sporothrix schenckii mycelial phase converts
to yeast phase in BHIA incubated at 37ºC.
In the image it appears that the mycelial
phase is beginning to convert into yeast phase (partial conversion).
Complete conversion takes place within a few days. Sometimes it
may take three weeks for complete conversion into yeast phase.
