• Sporothrix schenckii
growing on Sabouraud Agar (SAB) after three weeks. Note central
part of the colony is still pale and white.
Sporothrix schenckii grows moderately
fast as white at first then turning black with age. Some strains
grow dark initally and others remain pale or white looking like
yeast.
