Canadian Bacterial Surveillance Network (CBSN)

Instructions for Saving and Shipping Isolates

    1. Identify isolate(s) for study ( List for small centers, list for large centers )
    2. Freeze isolates until ready to ship in a batch (if possible, wait to ship when you have your first sets of consecutive isolates)
    3. Ship via Federal Express or Purolator. (NOTE: Laboratories in Ontario with Life Labs pickup can ship via Life Labs transportation service.)
    4. Waybills, pre-addressed Saf-T-Paks, supplied from study office.
